About The Club
The Lawrence Meadowlarks were founded in the summer of 2021 in Lawrence, Kansas. In the inaugural season, the team was composed of eight, nine, and ten-year-old players and competed in the DCABA U10 American League in Lawrence. The Meadowlarks also competed in two Perfect Game tournaments in Kansas and Missouri throughout the spring and summer season. In Fall 2023, the U11 Meadowlarks played in the fall DCABA league and the Perfect Game Monster Bash tournament in Kansas City. In Summer 2023, the U11's played in the U12 DCABA (second place finish amongst U11 teams) and multiple tournaments including the Hawaiian Hitfest and the 3&2's Stars and Strikes. The U10 Yellow Meadowlarks were a new team that formed in winter 2022 and finished second in the U10 DCABA National League while also playing tournaments in Topeka and Manhattan. The U8 Gray Meadowlarks were also a new team and finished third in the DCABA U8 NL Machine Pitch league.
